SCANDAL 1x1, 1x2 & 1x3 Reaction! | This Show is RIVETING! | Kerry Washington | Shonda Rhimes

Jaby and Brandon sit down for a reaction to the high-stakes first season of Scandal, the political thriller that redefined network television. We follow Olivia Pope, a legendary crisis manager in Washington, D.C., as she and her team of "gladiators in suits" navigate the dark underbelly of the capital to protect the secrets of the elite. Our hosts break down the intense chemistry between Olivia and President Fitzgerald Grant, the procedural "fix of the week" cases, and the overarching mystery involving Amanda Tanner that threatens to bring down the White House. We discuss the fast-paced dialogue, the moral ambiguity of the characters, and whether the shock factor holds up for a first-time viewing. The series was created by Shonda Rhimes (Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Bridgerton, Inventing Anna, Station 19) and stars Kerry Washington (Django Unchained, Ray, Save the Last Dance, Marvel's Fantastic Four, Little Fires Everywhere), Tony Goldwyn (Ghost, Disney's Tarzan, Divergent, Oppenheimer, The Last Samurai), and Guillermo Díaz (Weeds, Half Baked, Chappelle's Show, Law & Order: Organized Crime). The Season 1 ensemble also features Jeff Perry (Grey's Anatomy, Wild Things, Nash Bridges, The Dropout), Darby Stanchfield (Locke & Key, Mad Men, NCIS, Waitress), Katie Lowes (Inventing Anna, Wreck-It Ralph, Big Hero 6, Zootopia), and Columbus Short (Stomp the Yard, Cadillac Records, Death at a Funeral, Quarantine).
