In the third part of our Advent series we looked at the angel's announcement to Joseph in Matthew 1. Jesus entered the world through a situation that would have been scandalous, but God's love has always been scandalous. One modern example of this is the forgiveness of the Amish community following the tragedy in West Nickel Mines. Grace remains shocking today. Scandalous love brought Jesus into the world then, and reveals Jesus to the world now.
