Scary Places

I was just at the coffee shop and a friend of mine told me about her weird encounter. Her and her boyfriend were driving on Mines Road heading east. They were about two blocks from the bridge that goes over the tracks. There was a strange looking thing in the median of the road. It looked to be light gray and was crouching down on all fours but it looked almost human. It also looked kind of wolf or dog like. As they drew alongside this creature it dove right at them. The thing hit the side of the car with a loud thump so the boyfriend began to slow down to have a look to see what he’d hit. She said don’t stop thinking the thing might be dangerous. They continued on to the coffee shop where she worked. Once there the boyfriend got out to examine the side of the car. There was no dent or any scratches however, the dirt had been rubbed away from the side panel right where the thing had hit. Knowing the area where this happened I asked if the thing might have looked like the Rake I had seen back in May or June of 2013. My sighting had taken place less than a mile from where they had seen the dog or wolf creature. Manadas Creek Lake is in the area and then there are warehouses and brush.
