On today’s episode, Kevin and Seth speak with Stuart Alexander, Mike Hennesy, and Krisha Bullock of SceneBot. They talk about their app, SceneBot which allows actors to audition for free, once a month for legitimate casting directors, providing a platform for actors around the world to audition for jobs, no matter their location. Stuart Alexander, Founder and CEO, has spent over thirty years in the entertainment industry, starting as a child actor in New York. Stuart ultimately found his passion on the other side of the camera, and started a journey as a professional screenwriter, film director and producer in Los Angeles. Alexander created Scenebot with his casting director wife as a free alternative to expensive showcases and talent scouting services. Mike Hennesy, Founder and EVP, is an accomplished leader in the information technology field, with over twenty years of experience successfully executing technology operations for a variety of industries. Hennesy is also a serial entrepreneur and throughout his career, has been involved with a number of successful startups. Along with Scenebot, he co-founded Actually, Inc. with Alexander and brings the needed cross-functional expertise around the rapidly evolving digital landscape. He is excited about the possibilities for Scenebot as the perfect mashup of tech and entertainment and how the platform levels the playing field for actors all over the world. Krisha Bullock, CSA has over twenty years of casting experience, specializing in youth programming and entertainment, from commercials to television to feature films. She has won the Artios Award for Excellence in Casting as well as the Seymour Heller Award for Television Casting Director of the Year awarded by the Talent Manager’s Association. She has cast Nickelodeon's Emmy nominated hit shows, “Victorious” and “iCarly”. Some of her other credits include the shows, “Henry Danger”, “Game Shakers”, “Drake and Josh”, “Zoey 101”, “All That”, “The Amanda Show”, “Kenan and Kel”, the feature film “Alice Upside Down", the TV movie “Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh," as well as the television pilots for, “Gibby”, “Sam & Cat”, “Victorious”, “True Jackson V.P.” and “C3.” Her expertise in youth casting led her to be the choice Casting Director in a nationwide search for a music project with Simon Fuller, Perez Hilton and Jamie King.
