Michael Mahoney has spent many years doing independent research in the field of mental illness, with particular emphasis on schizophrenic symptomatology. His research has pointed inexorably to the factor of unconscious bisexual conflict and gender confusion as forming the basic role in all functional mental illness,in both men and women.
