School Board and Comedy

One of our guests will be Mike Lee of the Durham School Board...He will be talking about how Coronavirus impacted the school system this year, the lunch program that was provided during the crisis, and other issues that the school board had been dealing with like the graduation of African American males, retention of Male teachers, and Gangs in the school and other issues.... In addition to that we will have Marco Goldberg who wrote the book Primitive.... Definitely interesting about success of true entrepreneurs.... As a close advisor to visionary startup founders and established CEOs, Marco Greenberg discovered something about the most successful people he knew: They had remarkable instincts, and they trusted them. From a former roadie for the rap group N.W.A to a rock-star brain surgeon, from young tech billionaires to a top-ten college football coach, Greenberg demonstrates how a range of successful people–those he calls “primitives”–ignore what they “should” do and instead tap a primal drive to power ahead. And speaking of someone with drive...That definitely describes Shaleigh Comerford is a dancer with Irish and Native American roots and she is always doing innovative things with her dance...A true pioneer who isn't afraid to tackle things and topics and do things in a unusual way...I look forward to our talk. I first met Hausson Byrd when he started appearing at the Poetry Slam at Hayti and he has truly developed into a major force in the Poetry scene and a very talented artist who is getting recognition not just here in NC but in other parts of the country as well...
