School board discusses regaining trust, how to advance planned projects

With the future of school construction and expansion plans in question after residents were successful in gathering enough signatures to put a Box Elder School District lease revenue bond put on the November ballot, district officials and the board of education met last week to discuss ways to complete the planned projects and perhaps get voters to approve a bond in the future. All planned projects are on hold until the bond issue is resolved. This includes plans to install air conditioning units and to remodel schools to secure entrances.
