School Daze: Required Texts

In this same chapter, Paul emphasizes that we are children of LIGHT and therefore we must come out of the dark. He says wake up, don’t sleep - be clear in your mind. Can you hear Paul? Sounding like Dap (Laurence Fishbourne) at the end of School Daze, “Waaaaake up!” When you’re awake, you’re aware, you’re alert - you’re informed. Now just how informed are you? How do you get your information? Do you just scroll through IG & TikTok, listen to the top stories, play a podcast on your commute? What are you reading? How do you understand the Bible and the context behind the stories? What’s in your toolkit for enlightenment?
