Schreiber on Waivers: Royals Move Key Reliever | Kansas City Royals News

The Royals shockingly place reliever John Schreiber on waivers, giving other MLB teams two days to claim him—despite his stellar 3.65 ERA and elite performance against righties. Known for his low-angled arsenal and five pitches that induce ground balls, Schreiber’s value is undeniable, especially after helping KC in last year’s playoff run. With just a month left in the season and KC still out of playoff contention, his future hangs in the balance—if no one claims him, he likely won’t return next year.
