Schumer’s Seat Under Fire
from US News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Progressive Democrats are sending a bold message: nobody’s safe, not even Chuck Schumer. After stunning primary wins in NYC that ousted longtime politicians and backed fiery Mayor Zohran Mamdani, the left is turning its sights on the 75-year-old Senate veteran, citing his soft stance on Trump and Israel as liabilities. Schumer insists he’ll unify the party’s energy for the upcoming elections, but his approval ratings are slipping and his last win came with the narrowest margin ever. While Democratic Socialists say they’re ready to build on Mamdani’s underdog rise, skeptics warn that city-level momentum won’t easily translate statewide. The question now: can Schumer survive the progressive wave—or is he next on the chopping block? Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
