When you apply botanical oils with therapeutic actives like thymoquinone, beta-sitosterol, or essential fatty acids, they penetrate directly into the stratum corneum without barriers.Water-based products, by contrast, sit on the skin surface. The water evaporates, and often takes moisture with it—which is why many moisturizers actually leave skin dryer than before.Whole-oil matrices deliver sustained hydration because they don't evaporate.
