Scioto River Waterway Cleanup is April 22nd

Judi Mannion of Ross County Litter Control & Recycling says April 22nd is the 20th Annual Scioto River Waterway Cleanup. Mannion says those interested should gather at the boat ramp in the Yoctangee Park Annex. Teams will also go off site to clean the river banks at Strawser Park and Shawnee Wetlands. Groups and individuals interested in the Adopt-A-Road program can also contact Ross County Litter Control & Recycling at 740-772-5326. Mannion adds they're also partnering with the Ross, Pickaway, Highland and Fayette Solid Waste District for special tire and electronics collection events.
