Scotch and Cigars with Jeff Berwick and Doug Casey

from The Dollar Vigilante · host Jeff Berwick

Are you an anarchist, a capitalist, a voluntaryist or just a hippy without the beads and the dreads?   Today, I’m in Baja California, drinking the most expensive Johnny Walker Blue Label in the world and smoking a cigar with Doug Casey and Matt Smith –– just throwing around some life philosophies among friends. When I first met Doug in 2002 at a steakhouse in Vancouver, he helped me to define myself as a libertarian and an anarchist. I left that meeting, read the Market for Liberty by Linda and Morris Tannehill and recognized myself in it.   My life changed completely. I started Anarchast and The Dollar Vigilante to expose the system and show people how to profit from it. Then, in 2015, Anarchapulco was born, complete with combat boots and black T-shirts shouting subversive slogans. Very Antifa…except we didn’t loot and steal and burn and hurt people. But we were angry. All we talked about was how much we hate the government, a regular old mosh pit of doom and gloom and impassioned enthusiasm. However, at some point over the past six years we reached a point of “Okay, I get it, so what can we do about it” and Anarchapulco became a celebration of life and community and achieving a free society based on the principles of voluntaryism. It’s easy to be positive when you expand your consciousness. Teilhard de Chardin basically summed it up when he said, “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.” If you want to know more, listen to Doug Casey's Take on anarcho-capitalism vs. autochism and why it matters. We talk about ARRR, privacy coins, and the scarcity principle of banned things. And Kratom in your coffee. Watch on: Bitchute | Odysee | 153 News | Brighteon | Rumble Here’s a thought. You make your life, no-one else. Create it how you want it to be. Share it with those you love. Do the job that you want to do, don’t depend on the government and find happiness in the smallest of things. “As soon as you change yourself your reality changes.” –– Jeff Berwick
