Scott Hughes is a seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. He is known for emphasizing that you don’t need to be a million-dollar business to be sued like one, so make sure you have the right insurance to protect yourself.   Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Scott relocated to Colorado after graduating from the University of Iowa in 2004. He began his career in banking and advertising while earning his Master of Business Administration from Regis University in Denver. In 2009, he transitioned into the insurance industry by joining DLP Insurance, which later became Conexus Insurance Partners.   Scott lives in Westminster with his wife, Evie, whom he married in 2015, the same year they moved from Lakewood. They have two children and a mini labradoodle who keeps the household lively. An active member of the Westminster community, Scott is dedicated to supporting local business owners and helping them safeguard their growth while managing their risk. He believes strongly in treating others with respect, recognizing that professional and personal paths often cross more than once.   Passionate about education and constantly learning, Scott enjoys demystifying insurance and helping clients understand how coverage works.
