Scott Thorn

from Dusty Futon

Scott Thorn wouldn't exist, as a solo artist that is, if it wasn't for his wife! This singer/songwriter was pushed by his wife to finally take his original stuff public. Scott humbly thanks her, as well as nearly every person he's worked with, before ever touting his own accomplishments. Which are many! He's already a very prolific writer and has many songs written, he was one of five artists picked to write a song for the 2016 Acoustic Guitar Project, and has worked with many skilled producers. Scott is full of stories and happily shares his thoughts on many topics from Shoe Trees to his beautiful Gibson guitar. This National City, CA resident, traveling by way of Florida, D.C, and many other places, has evolved his sound through his travels, as well as his many projects he been a part of. From Hair Metal to Country, and recording for the first time at Blitz Recording studio he's nailed down who Scott Thorn is…musically. We preview three of his songs, one being a NEVER BEFORE HEARD acoustic version of a new song! Once again, we get another DEBUTON here on the Futon. Check out his newest album "Broken Horses" out now. 12:24 - "Broken Horses" 27:41 - "Picture under my Pillow" (DEBUTON – LIVE)47:26 - "Forgive Me (Feat. Punch Up Podcast Hillman Hollister, Mike Miller, Tim Melvin Punch Up Podcast is a criminally thoughtful exploration into history's greatest IP. From dusty old books to the latest holographic video game, Mike, Tim and Hillman bring their dangerously extensive expertise to praise artists where they go right and, yes, heavily critique and insult where they go wrong. Explicit @slightlycurvedreality SlightlyCurvedReality I use FL Studio 20, Akia Midi, and a dusty Acer brand laptopOther than getting it fixed soon I will be back this fall to seriously get my some more experience and knowledgeI enjoy making music, electronic noise, trying to get better at it in my free time.... Explicit Escape The Tapes Thomas Massey & Brittany Vaughn  Escape The Tapes is your new favorite rewind button! Join best friends Thomas Massey & Brittany Vaughn as they dive headfirst into the dusty, glorious, and occasionally ridiculous world of old films, forgotten VHS gems, scratched-up DVDs, and vintage media madness. Each episode, they crack open a relic from their past and attempt to escape its cinematic clutches. Fair warning: things might get a little off topic, mildly unhinged, and dangerously nostalgic. From cult classics to “how did this get made?” disasters, no tape (or disc) is safe. Pop some popcorn, press play, and embrace the chaos with Escape The Tapes. Explicit Gettin' Sidetracked Gettin Sidetracked Dave, Dusty, and Dan take turns diving deep into unusual or somewhat obscure topics including historical events, pop culture, sports,  and more, with each conversation veering into slightly relevant or utterly bizarre territory. These three longtime friends will hilariously attempt to educate each other, one week at a time.  Explicit
