Scotty Middleton Joins Spartans

San Jose State just added a proven elite shooter in Scotty Middleton, a 6-foot-6 senior small forward transferring from Tulane for the 2026-27 season. A five-star recruit out of high school, Middleton averaged nearly seven points and led Tulane in three-point shooting at 37% last year, hitting double digits ten times. With nearly 2,000 minutes in 92 games across Seton Hall and Ohio State, he brings Division I experience and a high-level skill set. Coach Tim Miles is thrilled, calling him an elite perimeter threat poised to stretch the floor and elevate the Spartans’ offense.
