Trump's immunity case. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court agreed to decide whether former President Donald Trump can be tried on criminal charges that he conspired to overturn the 2020 election. The case is related to charges brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith that are being heard in a Washington, D.C. federal court.
