Scouting Report: Georgian International Anzor Mekvabishvili

They have targeted Georgian international Anzor Mekvabishvili, currently playing in Romania's top flight. The Men in Red were turned down by his current club, Universitatea Craiova earlier this year, but the club have stuck with their valuation (reportedly a little above $2 million) and the deal looks close to getting done. The signing seems to fit the Fire's profile for recent midfield targets: Kevin De Bruyne, Patrick Berg, and Leon Goretzka.
