Get to log a second and participate in what he's had to set. Guys, franchise February is drawing to a close and because we're getting a Scream 7 this weekend, I figured. Let's talk about Scream 4. Mostly because it's the only Scream sequel that's within the 10-year limitations that we've set for ourselves so far that we haven't already covered.
Quick show of hands and mostly just looking at you, Kyle. Had you seen this before? Yes. I saw this in theater.
I saw this one before. I saw this in theaters. I think I saw it with a friend of the show, Jeanette Wall, and Hunter, Larry, who my son is named after. I feel like one of them was also a Texas Chainsaw 3D.
I think Hunter might have been on that one. And then Jeanette and I saw Scream 4. Made with Evan as well. I think Evan the Fonsega from Podpro was there too.
We go way back. Me and Scream 4 go way back. Haven't seen him in a while. And finally, you know, finally happy to reconnect.
So this is going to be interesting because I haven't watched this movie in a really long time. So it was a genuine treat to revisit it. And for many, many years, I put this like right behind part two as like, I think one of the better sequels. And I don't think that it's like dropped necessarily.
But I was watching this through the lens of someone who also really loved Scream 5. And I was like, I think Scream 5 is actually a better movie. Like watching this now after seeing those movies, I think I like five a little bit more. But my job is to dive into Scream 4 plotting wise.
Guys, you know, I'm going to walk us through this. But feel free to stop me at any moment when you've got some opinions. But my first opinion is that the first time into this movie where it's SAB 6 intro and then it turns out to be actually the beginning of SAB 7. And then we find out that we're finally in the movie.
Love it. What a perfect way to kick off such a meta franchise. Yeah, I remember an audible excitement in the theater when that did happen. And as the only thing I remember feel like on the rewatch, I was like, oh, yeah, I remember that like did gangbusters in the theater.
Everything else falls by the way, but that first, yeah, that first opening. So good. So good. We also have to call out that I believe this is Wes Craven's last movie.
Yeah, this is the last creature. I think he died a year later after this one, which is kind of interesting because of the scream movies. I feel West's fingerprint prints, the least on this one. It doesn't it doesn't feel like a West Craven movie to me.
If you would I would easier believe that the people who did Scream 4 and or 5 and 6 did this movie. Then I would believe that this was a film from the guy who did the first three movies. There's just, oh no, there's it could also just be the 2010 filmmaking style that I don't think West ever fully gelled with. No, dude, and the way that it looks to like it visually does not look like the other three.
No, no, no at all. So we finally get past all these movie scenes and we have two teenage girls who are unexpectedly killed while they're watching Scream 7 together. Just a quick note. I want to see the time travel sequel that they talked about.
I want to see the stab movie that it is this time travel. And one bit that brings me so much joy in this movie. It's some way of the J-SX of the series. Yes, exactly.
They said it was the fifth one. So it'd be stab V would be stab V. Yeah, you and me, maybe I love it. One of the things that brings me a lot of joy, I'm going to spoil something really quickly here.
The killers in this movie, I won't reveal who they are just yet, but I will say that they are very pop culture savvy teenagers. And I mentioned that because I think that there's something really, really funny about the way the second girl dies because she's trying to crawl away and the killer lowers the garage door on her and they don't play the joke quite the way I would expect them to. But it's very clear that the killer is expecting this door to kill this person and instead it just like temporarily immobilizes her before like the sensor sends it back up. And then he's forced to have to like pull her in and stab her.
But I'm like, I like that in the sense of if this is a person who's obsessed with the stab movies, then they probably have seen the garage door kill from the first movie and they're like, oh, this is going to work because it works in the movies. And then like it did. I think you're right. I didn't get that.
I think the way that you're I think the way they played it did not totally translate. It didn't translate, but I feel like that was what the intention was, especially when they keep talking about how this is a remake and they're trying to redo things. So it's like they're trying to redo the garage kill, but it doesn't work. That's not like I really think that they kind of fumbled that joke, but it's a great concept of a joke.
And it just wasn't they got it right. So it just happens to be the 15th anniversary of the original murders and Sydney is in town to promote her self help book. Meanwhile, her teenage cousin Jill is a student at the local high school. Her boyfriend Trevor recently cheated on her and now and we find her and her friends, Olivia and Kirby driving to school when they receive phone calls from ghost face.
Unfortunately for Sydney, a missing phone from one of the teenagers who was murdered in the first scene is found in the trunk of her rental car and she's brought in as the site prime. Suspect even though every element of it looks like a frame job. Everything was burrow like after after having literally like 15 people murdered still doesn't quite have like a police force that no do we is there sheriff? Like I love doing it's not sheriff material.
No, no, he's let no one else volunteers for the job. You're like fine. I guess do he's got to go should have should have followed into lawlessness. They're all trauma bonded in some way.
Yeah, honestly the fact is he's friends with Dewey and Gail only reason why she's probably not behind bars for the phone being found in her truck. They're like, we're just going to put you on like a pseudo house arrest. Yeah, we were like it's the anniversary. We figured some weird shit would happen.
We'll just we'll take it as it comes. Yeah, so that night Sydney stays at Julie Julie Jill's house and when Jill and Kirby are watching Sean of the dead together, they get a phone call from ghost face. Meanwhile across the street, their friend Olivia gets murdered as they watch Sydney runs the help until the cops arrive. If you know it's here, I do.
Great scene. I love this scene. I love the fake out of you know, I'm in the closet. I hear everything that's happening because I've been in the closet and then they throw open the closet.
I didn't say I was in your closet. It's like, oh, that's a good that's a good scream worthy like twist slash kill moment. I'm into that. I'm brutal too.
Like I don't know. This is kind of gnarly. I definitely think they push it even more when you get to five and six. But at the time I remember screen for being the most brutal kills I'd ever seen in a movie.
It really it still is very, very dark and like I think that the thing that so I really got to cut out of the bag. We can talk for 10 minutes about this and I got to say I didn't. This is diminishing returns. I did not enjoy it.
I did not enjoy the watch. I think that there's a good 90 minute movie in this two hour movie. I think that it just really draws things out and I think it's it is super 2011. Yes.
That's a thing. That's a lot of the 2011 vibe in a good way. Like, yeah, it's okay. So for me, the problem is that it's kind of cringy.
Like I feel like everything is kind of cringy. The character of Robbie is just the most infuriating like like it's like not only is just a shit heal of a human, but it vibes with that boomer trying to understand what teens do in 2011 where it's like I was pretty tapped in to the tech world. No one was like wandering around school nor would they have been allowed to wander around school with a live webcam strapped to their head for the entirety of the day. Like streaming to where he's like my audience.
What audience who is tuning into this guy's life. After after this kill it really is got you not only trying to do the perfect time to let us know, but also the perfect time in the recap of the movie for me where this starts to like go back down. I remember liking it when it came out and I do not I did not like my watch as much this time around. I think I still enjoyed it for like I kind of nostalgia reason, but like more than anything.
I did it it didn't do it for me beyond sort of these first few scenes. I don't know where it would ultimately fall for me on a screen ranking, but I'm right now. The only thing I know it's definitely higher than is three, but like that's it. And that's like not much of a stick to that's not much of a pole to clear is being better than Scream 3.
One of my favorite moments around this same part though is there. I love ADR lines of dialogue and like never nothing Sydney has not done it. She has written a book and this teenagers body is being wheeled out of this house and some random person the crowd is just like this is your fault Sydney. Yeah.
Although I kind of get where they're coming from. Yeah, right. Like death follows Sydney Prescott. It does follow Sydney Prescott.
So I did have a real quick question. So Kevin Williamson wrote this. Did he write it? How many of them did he write?
I think he also wrote. Do you three? He did not write three. He wrote the draft for three.
Okay. And then I think that was right when like Dawson's Creek was starting to rev up and he won it more time in the studio said no, so then they took like this skeleton of his script to a different writer. I can't remember if he wrote five, but I know he has nothing to do with six and seven. Okay.
He's he's not even think he wrote five. I think the radio silence guys wrote most of five here. Which I was curious. So he he wrote for he wrote the 2022 screen and then six.
Oh, he did. Are you sure it's right? He did not write six. He wrote four and he wrote seven.
Well, he wrote seven. Yeah, he wrote seven. No, no, no, six six. Right.
I mean, no, seven. The one that comes out this week. He wrote that's crazy. Okay.
Okay. That's interesting. The other thing is you know, extreme six. Oh, no, he was executive producer.
I'm sorry. I was going to say and I'm sure he did and I was I was mistaken because he definitely gets character like based on characters by your story by credits for all of it because anytime that Sydney or Gail is mentioned, I think he gets a credit for creating a great way. So what a screen six is actually just called scream. I didn't watch it.
It's in the screen. Five is scream. Screams five is just scream and the and the V is hidden in the M. They highlight out why why?
Okay. Asshole. I honestly beyond a poster. That's horrible.
Well, I think it's really confusing is if you're going to do that as like a self reboot, then the next one can't be scream six. Homie like it's it's like a really good. It's you know what? It's the it's the fast and the furious rules.
That's the furious did shit like that. Yeah. Can I? Yeah.
You start dropping words and sometimes a new one. Yeah. Yeah. Now I got to scream one fucking word.
You can't drop a word upon reflection. I think it screams an objectively bad franchise. I think it's a really bad franchise. Oh, I mean, I know I'm so good.
Right. Scream was and is a phenomenal movie. Definitely top 20 horror movies all time for me. It's not something I go back to.
But I could quote it probably without help. But like I don't particularly like screen to screen three is atrocious. I didn't I used to like say that I love screen for like there's my second favorite in the franchise rewatching it now. I was just like, so yeah, man, you're right.
The pacing is I mean, yes, and I even movie version of this would be much better. But I also find all the characters except for Kirby Kirby rules, which is why the love her is why they brought her back in sex. Kirby's a main character in screen. Oh, really?
That's so she didn't die and she doesn't die. There was this whole fan theory online that like we never actually saw her die. We just saw her bleeding and then Sydney and everybody showed up. So yeah, the ambulance could have got to her.
And then they put in no one's fucking franchise. Yeah, they put it. Don't even get me started on that. I'll talk about that.
We get to the end of this. But in screen five, there was a scene where one of the girls is scrolling through YouTube and like one of the YouTube's in the corner was like Kirby Kelly, like tells her story of surviving the 2011 murders in Wood'sboro. And then in part six Kirby is like an FBI agent specifically on serial killer task force that comes to like help. It's it's all goofy.
It's all nonsense. But it feels like classic, but like it doesn't not feel like if you told me that the slasher franchise existed in the 80s and the sequels went into the 90s. Like it doesn't not sound like some shit. We would have seen like a like like you know, this is where I need to push back a little bit on your statement Scott.
I definitely don't think this dream is the best franchise. It's not. I mean, what's OK? Maybe maybe I'm being ridiculous by saying that it's one of the worst, but like what's it track record?
Think about absolute gap in like how Z versus bad. I don't know. It's hard for me to say because I liked five and six. I genuinely liked both of those movies.
I watched five and I was not wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Did I watch five or did I watch six? Six is the one in New York.
She related to in. She's she's Billy Lewis's daughter. Who's it? Who's her mom?
I can please forget the scene beyond four and just you guys talking about what like no, no, no, no, no, no, no, do not be like don't be sorry. Well, I'm so intrigued by what you're both saying because I think that like the way that you would figure out objectively to me where it lands if it is really a like, you know, high tier or low tier franchise is that you have to like put it in a category like what's nearby and quality of film and like maybe child's play is like sort of like I was a child's play has a higher success. Oh, I don't even love to play, but I definitely have a higher success rate below. And I think if you start stacking, it moves down.
It moves down. But I think the screen has one of the I would put scream as one of the higher first films. You know, I mean, I think it's in the category. Yeah, it's like in that same category is like the first Halloween, the first Elraiser in the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Like it is a perfect first. Yes, franchise film. I think that the issue is and this has always been the issue with slasher movies in general. I don't think that there is another sub genre of horror that is more tied to the time period in which that movie is being made because every one of the movies is about teenagers in peril, which means that every one of the movies has to relate to the movie.
To the teenagers who are going to go see that movie at that time. And that's where I think they do end up having like the most diminishing returns, but then they're also the ones where like you hate it the sequel, but then you watch it 10 years later and you don't hate it as much because it almost feels like charmingly nostalgic for a time from 30 years ago that like you miss like I think that that's where like raiding any slasher movie is infinitely more difficult than like there's either a good vampire movie or bad vampire movie. There's either a good movie or a bad werewolf movie like slasher films are way more tied into what year they were made than any other genre of horror. And I'm not really ready for late aughts.
Yeah, flash me on the phone. Flash me on my phone right now. You know what? Maybe 10 years later, you watching it like I don't know days of 2011.
What's your face in this? Oh my God. Supreme for Elisim Brie. No, no, she's the best part of this movie.
I fucking love her. Emma Roberts is. Emma Roberts is. Unsufferable in this really.
Yeah. Well, wait, let's wrap this up. All right. We're like I'm sorry for this damn movie.
So Gail enlist the help of the presidents of the cinema club at the high school to help figure things out. Yeah. Charlie has a theory that the killer is following the rules of remaking. And Sydney and Gail agree to speak at the cinema club.
And this is where they find out that there is a stabbathon event where they watch all seven stab movies. They conclude that this is because I'm jealous. It's because I wish this was real. Yeah, because I wish that there was a cinema club and a stabbathon that I could have attended.
100% they concluded this is where the next killing will happen. So Gail stakes out the event where a bunch of weird teens are way to into a movie that they have had a yearly screening of. Like, come on, it's not Rocky Horror. But she's attacked and also notices that cameras are hidden in the barn area filming her.
She's attacked until he is able to come and save her. No person has more. Gail weather is as a fucking cat. The amount of times that this woman has been attacked and survived across seven movies now is psychotic.
More than Sydney? More than Sydney, I think. Sydney does not get stabbed nearly with the frequency that Gail has been stabbed. Okay.
Meanwhile, the cops outside of Jill's house are both murdered by Ghostface. And then I wrote down with Anthony Anderson getting one of the strangest gory kills in this entire franchise. Oh, it's so small now. Fucking forehead.
In the forehead. They do not have skulls work. Yeah. Obviously.
This is Halloween 4. It's not how fucking skulls work. Well, it certainly isn't how skulls work when it's a what? 17 year old girl doing it.
I just don't believe in his eyes. Is that their homage to Halloween 4? That's what it is. Yeah.
That's crazy. Sydney gets a call from Ghostface letting her know that Jill has left the house to go to Kirby's. No one was killed at Sabbath on. So instead they go to Kirby's for this after party.
And during that party, Robby has killed and Charlie has tied up. Kirby answers a bunch of questions. And I will say that her naming all of the remakes at Rapid Fire is still one of the most iconic moments. I mean, it's so good.
Like I said, Kirby is the best part. Allison Brace, the second best part. I do hate Allison Brace killed because it seems very anticlimactic. But that's just so good.
Is it funny to think about Allison Brace trajectory because like, like she has done a lot of horror. Like people forget. I forgot how much horror she's done. I mean, she did birth.
What's with it? There's a vampire baby one or something like a born. It's a born. And she did this and she's done some other stuff.
And then she did community and like the comedic side community. Yeah. Well, this would have been Pete community. This sort of like second season community when she was doing this.
Yeah. But so she's like, and then she did mad men and people like, Oh, Allison Brie is like just like a drum dramedy kind of actor. And then she did glow and you know, she's off on this other tangent. And then she does, you know, part of the best horror movie of 2025.
Yeah. And it was fantastic. Yeah. And people were like, Oh, she does horror.
I'm like, well, first of all, horror and comedy like same beats. But also she was she got her start in horror. So she just feels a little disappointing that she just gets stabbed in the tummy and falls over, you know. Yeah.
Well, I said she doesn't come back in six. No, she doesn't. But Kirby frees Charlie only for Charlie to snap her and reveal that he himself was the killer. And then I wrote here.
We already got here, but I said spoiler alert, she doesn't die in the franchise. So Charlie confronts Sydney. And this is when the second ghost face arrives, there's always two and reveals herself as Jill. She admits that she's mastermind the whole killing spree out of jealousy for Sydney and hopes to be remembered as the next big survivor.
And then she intends to frame Trevor. Then she kills Charlie and shoots Trevor in the fucking dick. And yeah. And then the boy also how is she she thinks that I mean, I did enjoy when she's like, quote unquote staging the her like defeat of her ex boyfriend who is supposed to go space.
But how is she going to explain to the cops that like she shot him in the dick and the bullet would be in the floor. And then the shot in the forehead, the bullet would be in the floor like bullets don't just like stay in bodies. Listen, she also gives herself away like 10 seconds later. So she didn't really think this fucking one on.
She stabs. But it's woods bro PD. I can do the. Sure.
No, you're on the case. It's like you're he's been what you're in three for three. I'm not having to do any fucking like work because the killer dies. Right.
Yeah. There's no walk out. So with the zero killer in town. So she stabs Sydney and she ends yourself to look more like a villain or a victim.
But on the way of the hospital, she finds out that Sydney's still alive and she accidentally gives away that she was involved by knowing undisclosed information about Gail's attack. Jill is prepared to kill all of the adults that we've been following in this movie. But Sydney is able to hit her with the deferbula, the fibrillators and then shooter and the movie ends with a report. The reporter's outside calling Jill a hero straight out of the movies.
I want to throw a flashback real quick, Scott. I want us to flashback to us reviewing Scream 3 all those many years ago. And we were joined by Brett Simmons, the director of I think I might be the killer. You might be the killer.
You might be the killer. You might be the killer. And he said that scream in his mind that Scream 4 could have been a perfect movie. If it ended with Jill winning and Sydney dying and rewatching this Mike, I 100% agree.
And then he even pitched his idea for Scream 5. And do you remember what his version of Scream 5 would have been? No, tell us. So his version of this movie was that you kill Sydney.
She's gone. She's out of this franchise and that Jill gets away with it and she gets to be the survivor hero. And then part 5 is almost like a I know what you did last summer where she's in college and someone's trying to expose her as the killer from part 4. So she's both survivor girl and villain at the same time for Scream 5.
And I'm like, I would watch the show. Can we recast them at Roberts? Because that would be necessary. She's also really funny to think about her trajectory as well because she did Scream 4 and then whatever else she did and then Scream Queens.
And she's such a better character in Scream Queens. She's still obnoxious as shit, but it makes more sense. I think the other thing that's frustrating is as much as I love the opening where we get Scream 6 and Scream 6 and Stab 7, because Emma Roberts is easily the worst person in this movie from a performance stance, you're shown four other very competent female actresses who could have crushed in this role. And I'm like, give me Lucy Hale.
Lucy Hale in this role would have been fantastic or Anna Pacwen would have been fantastic in this part. If you're talking about her it has to be teenagers, it has to be 25 year old, 19 year old. 25 year old who could pull off teenagers. I don't think that Anna Pacwen could have pulled that off in 2011.
I think Lucy Hale would have been too. I'm gonna, I'm gonna check it out. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Here's this, this is 2011.
I mean, Hayden's pushing it, right? Like she's like, okay, I love you Hayden. And I love her in this. Like, I think she's great.
She's not a high schooler at all. No. And the haircut is also not doing her any favors. She doesn't like a sophomore in college coming back.
Yeah, she looks like she's a career woman. Career woman? She's a career woman. In 2011, Hayden or Lucy Hale would have been, so she's wearing an older than Emma Roberts.
One year. She could have done it. Yeah. Yeah.
Lucy Hale was still playing teenager in like 2019 in fucking Truth or Dare or whatever that dumb shit was that I saw in a theater. Yep, you did. You got the 18 right there. Yeah.
You do it. She's got those big eyes that suddenly make you able to play to any of your younger than you actually are. I don't write the rules of Hollywood that's just facts. Yeah.

That's S-Y-N-C the movie for updates because the mind is a terrible thing to share. Anyway, so after I had a bunch of people come over to watch the two-hour experience that is stream for, what would I make them double feature it with? Probably the better meta-sequel remake, The Town that Dreaded Sundown from like 2010? That's good.
That's good. What a good recall. That movie is really like that movie. I mean, I think that it does get love, but I just wish it got more when it came out.
I'm going to say something crazy that I think we've all forgotten. I don't think we've done it on the show. I think we did it as a hard club years ago, but I think we did the original and never did the thing. I can find out real quick for you because I talked about my love of that for quite a while.
Damn, if we didn't do that, okay, so hold on. We did not do it. That rules. I'd love to watch that.
It doesn't work. It doesn't work. The clear? Now I'm doing work.
Okay. That's why I'm reorganizing. Okay. Everybody want to go?
I'm going to go with another movie that has a, I think it's a defibrillator killing it, but it happens in an hospital, X-Ray, hospital massacre, which is an HMN classic with a can of red. I'll mention another one that has a defibrillator if Kyle doesn't pick it. No, I'm not going to pick it. Giggles homeboy that oh yeah it would be sick because that's a fun Kyle do you know that that's the first movie Scott and I ever watched together in the same room was Dr.
Giggles? Yeah, I came didn't know that I came in like a couple yeah We went to an anime convention and then watch dr. Giggles afterwards. Oh, that's really funny.
Okay, so I didn't know that it was at an anime convention Oh we had panels we had we got booked a couple panels at an anime convention talking about our movies, okay Okay, okay, before we launched the podcast so just like knowing like your best couple friends like we did on their first day because they just like Tell the story and it's just like it just sticks to your bones I think it's just such an on-brand movie to be the first one that we watched together It is so on brand. I mean literally it's that is nothing else The other on-brand one was when I went to your house I think for the first time and we went in the basement and watch goolies too. Yeah Wow when did you guys get the first base? Bro I got that little beat of sweat Nothing on Scott 19 Seriously nothing was less and you could not have there's no way that I could have gotten an erection at that anime convention because you know People talk about it being stinky at horror conventions.
It's bad. It's nothing like a scrappy first time anime convention Library, yeah Was it during finals week because God that would have been horrible. I think there's spring break Yeah, it was during this break, but yeah was that Westchester University in their library Oh, and now and now known for their anime convention. Yes, they're famous anime convention First and last I was going to Westchester goddamn Kyle.
What's your double feature? So can I get it? Okay if I combine my double feature with the one I watched sure sure is it Let's pause for one quick second speaking of conventions come see us a creature feature weekend in Gettysburg on March 20th of 22nd Visit our website at hmm podcast calm go to hmm podcast dot dashry dot com to buy some merch check out our patreon patreon Dot com backslash hmm podcast and hmm podcast and all of our socials if not for the letterbox We'd still be trying to figure out if we discussed tell the dreaded sundown already or not And with all that being said Kyle, what is your double feature slash? What did you watch this week?
All right, so I got to watch scream for and this is a suggestion by friend and listener Greg who was like hey Let's do what like if you always talk about naming a double feature So like watch the movie and then let's pick a double feature And I was like you're right like I think since like post sort of pandemic and lockdown the times that we actually like do the double feature thing Is is rare right? Yeah, so I was like hell. Yeah, like let's do it So we watch scream for and but I'm also eyeballing his VHS collection and you come across a movie from 2000 called sleepy hollow high And on the box it has a quote from I think it's femme fatale magazine. I have the box upstairs So but it says scream meets Dawson's Creek Which I was like Okay, so I never I never seen this cover any of it So we put it in and this is not you shouldn't straight up you shouldn't double feature it don't listen to that one box quote There's nothing scream about this movie.
There's nothing Dawson's Creek about this movie It is you know shot for $200 in New Jersey and it is really really bad But I just I I wanted to be able to say that this movie exists because when you come across when you're in our line of business Sometimes you feel like you are kind of recognize everything that comes across the table And I think like especially sort of coming from doing film freaks and staying in that sort of cold and VHS and all that world I get excited when I see a thing that I'm like that's I've never in my life. I even if it's atrocious So don't I wouldn't suggest it you can't probably find it anyway But that's what I watched as well You should try to track down that magazine because I would love to know if it's a review out of context Like if the quote was like this movie seems to think it scream meets dust it's great And they're like good enough for us. Yes, it's actually it's the press release that they sent so I'm like You know new releases it actually feels like it was printed it was printed there But it's not them saying it it was bad. It was fucking bad Well, but you know it was really fucking good I'm even talking about me being on brand of course I had to talk about it the Muppet show featuring Sabrina Carpenter what a fucking fun 30 minutes joy I will say not perfect as a die hard Muppets fan.
It's not perfect But it is damn good And if this is what it is claiming to be which is like a backdoor pilot to hopefully become a series I think they've got all the right pieces to make it work I could have used you know like there was it's I think it started to find its winning in the back end Which is why I'm like alright perfect like it started perfect the first like five minutes I was crying because they were nailing 70s Muppet shows so good then like I was like oh all of these songs are too new like the Muppet show was like Maybe one new song and then some like obscure ass shit that they found in like a dollar bin But then you start to get into like islands in the stream and like some more 70s music And I was like okay, okay, they're figuring it out there getting into a groove again I thought it was an absolute delight go watch it even if you're not a Muppets fan You'll just it's just joyful. It's just like there's in a world where there's so many things to complain about It's it's great. It's just great to have something. It's like yeah, this was very good and wholesome Yeah, I had a time with it too Scott take us home.
All right. I'm taking you home boys. I'm gonna do a little double-fiche of Dramaties, I guess Megan and I watched both eternity and people we meet on vacation back to back And and Megan read people we meet on vacation eternity so eternity is Elizabeth Olsen and the guy from with lash and They the idea is that like the afterlife you go to kind of like a waiting area and you decide what kind of afterlife you want What your what your eternity you're gonna pick and there's like beach eternity. There's Mountain eternity.
There's Paris eternity. There's The best the funniest joke about like a possible eternity is the Vaima Republic with zero Nazis and but the Kink in the story or the the curve in the story is the fact that it was with Olsen and her husband get she gets there and her husband Has been there for a minute and then her first husband has been waiting there for like 60 years because he died in the Korean War And then she remarried and so the question is like which guy is she going to spend eternity with and for me like Megan We're both like why don't you guys just pick one to be together all three of you? It'll be great But anyway, so it's very good very good. We're using a sin if it's in heaven.
I mean you're all married I mean And hell it's crazy You may not be enjoying what you fucking in hell anyway, so that was it was very good Very long a very beautiful 824 never never fails to be at least entertaining and then people in a vacation I think it's a Netflix original and I enjoyed it Megan read the book and was like these are the things that are different These are things that I wasn't like didn't really love but overall we both enjoyed it But Poppy is kind of a bad person like the maker kind of a bad person. She's very selfish, but I just love it I just love it. I just love it. You know, yeah I just because you mentioned it made me laugh I made bar watch all of clone high USA recently which is you know pretty great show But the third season I forgot that they introduced a character and she's like supposed to be the parody of every type of manic Pixie dream girl up until that point she's like climbing into a window and she's like sorry couldn't find the door to the school Haha, there's my laugh to manic or pixie for you someone says that sometimes.
