Screamin Out

Jesus went out for a walk one night Out on the deep blue sea His followers awaiting their God to see He started to walk right past the boat But then He heard a bittersweet cry The twelve were shouting out into the tide The scream of fear and aching to be heard Turned the God of this universe around With just one word I'm screamin out to You Please don't pass me by The storms are drawing nigh I need Your hand of perfect strength To pull me through I'm screamin out to You Out of my complacency No more driftin out to sea From the bottom of my heart To the top of the moon Peter went out for a walk one night Out on the deep blue sea Sure he'd reach the God in whom he believed But as his eyes started drifting Him mind started shifting Back upon himself As if he put his faith up on a shelf From the wrestling of the panic deep within To the surface of the raging waters The battle cry begins I'm screamin out to You Please don't pass me by The storms are drawing nigh I need Your hand of perfect strength To pull me through I'm screamin out to You Out of my complacency No more driftin out to sea From the bottom of my heart To the top of the moon I'm screamin' out to you Can you hear me now Oh please hear me now Oh Lord I'm screamin out to You Please don't pass me by The storms are drawing nigh I need Your hand of perfect strength To pull me through I'm screamin out to You Out of my complacency No more driftin out to sea From the bottom of my heart To the top of the moon I'm screamin out to You Oh please don't pass me by
