Becks never used a screen for her children at mealtimes, but that was only because she didn’t have a smart phone or ipad when they were little! There is no judgement here and also no need to despair if your children are watching a screen at mealtimes, all is not lost and this podcast will help! We talked about ... the reasons we might start letting our children have a screen at mealtime (surely it’s a good thing if the child is eating their food, is calm and isn’t bored?!) our own screen use – especially at meal times or when our children are eating. how focussing on a screen affects us and the way we eat. the benefits of family mealtimes and conversation. what we can do to help our little ones eat without a screen (and lots of ideas and suggestions for what to do instead!). https://www.instagram.com/bespokefamily/?hl=en (Instagram - @bespokefamily) https://www.facebook.com/Bespoke-Family-247449005951650/ (Facebook - @bespokefamily) Blog – https://www.bespokefamily.co.uk/blog/screentime-and-mealtimes-is-it-ok (Screentime and mealtimes...is it OK?) https://www.bespokefamily.co.uk/shop (‘Your Guide to...’ (our downloadable webinars)) get 25% off any guide with the code ‘PODCAST’ Bespoke Family 1:1 Parent Consultations: https://www.bespokefamily.co.uk/parent-consultations (https://www.bespokefamily.co.uk/parent-consultations) Hosted on Acast.
