"Screw It, Lets Do This!"

For a lot of us, there is that mechanism in our bodies that on occasion, takes over for our minds and we just find ourselves taking an action, taking a step, making a commitment that our minds have been talking ourselves out of, sometimes for years. These moments can be simply calling out of work and taking the kids to the beach for the day because you all need it. Or they could be as huge and intense as walking away from a career and doing the thing you always dreamed of. These may look ridiculous to the outside world, and on occasion even to ourselves. But they are what we need, and sometimes it feels like we’re just watching our bodies act on the think over the objections of our minds. The other day I posted the following on social media: Tell me about a time where you just said “F___ it” and did a thing. Did it work? How did it feel?
