Scrimmage Week: Baldwin Park

The Kares will head over to Baldwin Park High School on Friday to compete against the Braves a week before the season officially kicks off. Both teams have very tough opponents in their openers and are looking to get some quality work in to see where they are at after a long summer of preparation. Joining us today is the Head Coach of Baldwin Park, Robert Maxie. Coach Maxie has been at BP since 2023 and led the Braves to the Division 11 Championship Game last season. You can hear him on weekly Twitter Spaces throughout the fall as local coaches and media members preview the area's biggest games. We look forward to where the Kares and Braves finish up this year but they will get things started off with a friendly Friday night scrimmage that will get them ready for their 2026 Campaigns.
