Script/2/Screen - Anora

Script/2/Screen is back discussing the Palm d’Or winner from Cannes Anora! Ani is a nonsense Exotic Dancer/ Escort who gets into a whirlwind romance with Vanya a spoiled rotten son of Russian Oligarchs. On an impromptu weekend trip to Vegas, the two are married and hell is broken loose as Vanya’s family bodyguards try to have the marriage annulled against Ani’s expressed wishes. Mark, Conner, and JC go in-depth with the hilarious, heartbreaking, and humanistic work from Sean Baker. Next time we’ll be heading inside the walls of the Sistine Chapel as a new head of the Catholic church is elected in Conclave!
