Scripts Records - December 28th, 2017
from Radio One Chicago Hosted by Radio One Chicago
Scripts Records founders Edwards Hamels and David Paha stop in with their recording artist, Leah Asher to talk with Alex on Radio One Chicago! SCRIPTS records is passionate about producing, promoting and archiving music taking influence from contemporary concert music, noise, ambient and electronic composition. Founded by composers and Chicago natives David Paha and Edward Hamel, the concept of SCRIPTS began in 2015 while both David and Edward were living in Los Angeles. Growing nostalgic for the progressive and evolving music scene of their hometown, Edward and Dave returned to Chicago in late 2016 and released their first pressing shortly after. They continue to expand their catalog by seeking out composers and musicians while also beginning to focus on publishing books from writers, graphic designers and artists of various mediums. Radio One Chicago airs live every Thursday from 6p to 8p on WLUW-FM.
