Scripture Guiding the Study of Scripture

He’s back! Jonathan and James are once again joined by their good friend, Gary Schnittjer, a distinguished professor of Old Testament at Cairn University, to discuss his latest book, Connected: How Scripture Guides the Study of Scripture. In this work, Gary focuses on the importance of understanding the Bible through its interconnected narrative, emphasizing how it teaches us to study itself. Designed for both newcomers and seasoned readers, Connected offers unique insights into the overarching Gospel story and how to approach Scripture in a way that aligns with Christian faith. This book is trying to not go back in time but saying we live within the biblical story, the gospel story of the entire Bible. – Gary Schnittjer Tune in for an enlightening conversation that we hope enriches your understanding of the Bible. Thanks to the generosity of B&H Publishing Group, we are pleased to award a copy of Connected to one of our listeners. Congratulations Taylor M. from Bartonville, IL!
