The season began with the St. Cloud State men's hockey team as the No. 1-ranked team in NCAA Division I. It ended with a loss in the first round of the national tournament, but came after a rally to get home ice for the NCHC playoffs. There will be a different look to the Huskies next season with a number of its top players finishing their eligibility or signing pro contracts.
