Hey, Scuttlebutt listeners. Thank you for joining us. This week Nancy, William, and Vic breakdown Stanley Kubrick’s film, Full Metal Jacket. This quintessential cinematic masterpiece has been talked about, analyzed, and dissected ad nauseam (rightfully so!) but its such a great movie and has such an imprint on Marines and the Marine Corps, there’s no way that we could have a movie review segment without talking about it. William tees up some great questions and forces us to focus on some of the aspects of the movie’s artistic expression that go beyond just watching a movie.
