SD County has a shortage of homes for low-income renters

There are more than 134,000 low-income renter households in San Diego County who do not have access to an affordable home. That's according to a new report from the California Housing Partnership. In other news, an estimated 8,500 DACA recipients live in San Diego County and starting November first, they can apply for health coverage under the Affordable Care Act. Plus, Mexican Mother’s Day is today and Mother’s Day in the U.S. is on Sunday.
