SDSU Basketball: Balancing Youth and Vets in Transfer Portal Shuffle

SDSU Basketball Teams Navigate Transfer Portal: Mens Squad Losing Stars, Womens Team Retaining Scorers The San Diego State basketball teams are actively navigating the transfer portal for the 2026-27 season, with the mens squad losing top defenders and scorers, while the womens team retains key scorers. The mens team is bringing in exciting additions like Jeremiah Cherry and Nick Anderson, while the womens team is keeping Naomi Panganiban, Nat Martinez, and Bailey Barnhard. Fans and coaches see this as a rebuild mixing youth and vets, with injuries and inconsistency pushing some out but portal pickups filling gaps fast.
