Merriam-Webster defines vision as: “The act or power of seeing; something seen in a dream, trance, or ecstasy (especially a supernatural appearance that conveys a revelation; a thought, concept, or object formed by the imagination; a manifestation to the senses of something immaterial; the act or power of imagination; mode of seeing or conceiving; unusual discernment or foresight; direct mystical awareness of the supernatural usually visible in visible form; something seen” (“Vision”).
