Es 1971, y la selección mexicana está por jugar la final del campeonato mundial de futbol femenil, ante un lleno total en el Estadio Azteca. La sensación en la cancha es una mediocampista mexicana de nombre Alicia Vargas y de apodo "La Pelé".
