Rook steals an impressive sword, as Steve inspects the remains of Randy Quickshanks. Lia delivers to Beleg a most useful item, while Kaitoa gets to know their prisoner. After the party negotiate a "loot" collection deal with the meat wagoneers, they demand that Sergeant Sandred summon Administrator Nafre and the Mayor of Polb to The White Chain as honoured guests. Steve arrives back at Safe Shack, where he hurriedly shares the details of the battle with Gurm and Dorophil.
