They are Jake McCaffery and Aaron King, better known as the Breakspoll Award-winning duo Se7en Deadly Breaks, and we're absolutely thrilled to have them in The Armory this week! Press play. Get down. Aaron & Jake joined forces back in 2007 to form Se7en Deadly Breaks as they both had a passion for underground music and an even bigger passion to be the ones behind the decks. Whilst the pair was making there mark in and around Berkshire they also had shows on two of the biggest pirate radio stations in London and the west London area PointBlank FM & Flex FM which took the attention of some well known names in the scene including Deekline & Wizard, Pure SX, Pyramid, Jigga Flo, Sneaky D, CodeBreaker and Ben & Lex to name a few. Se7en Deadly Breaks have quickly became a well known name because of the party's and event's they have played & also Radio but more importantly because of the music selection they play and the way they both have similar mixing styles behind the decks with their scratching, edits, loops and the way they switch up into genres they know how to rock a party! Se7en Deadly Breaks have been hitting big club events in London which have seen them play along side there idols in the Breakbeat world such as Deekline, Stanton Warriors, Pyramid, Ed Solo, High Rankin, Hostage & Jurrasik to name a few. They have also Headlined the 2012 Hot Cakes Break Beach Festival in Spain and are set on course to continue growing strong as DJ's & two best friends loving what they do and the people they meet on this musical journey they are on. Now with the lads 1st release on Deekline's BOOTY BREAKS label in November 2012 "Superman" hitting NUMBER ONE in the TOP 100 BREAKS CHART on BEATPORT they are set for a big future. And now in the new year of 2013 they won the award of Breakthrough DJ at the 12th International Breakbeat Awards and have the full support from some huge names in the scene including, Deekline, Stanton Warriors, Lady Waks, Ben & Lex, Pyramid, Ed 209.
