Seahawks Overlooked Again | Spokane News

The Seahawks, champions of last season with ten straight wins and a Super Bowl title, are being overlooked this year despite returning nearly their entire roster—including the Offensive Player of the Year. While teams like the Rams get the hype for big offseason moves, Seattle’s low playoff odds and questions about quarterback Sam Darnold’s turnover history and new offensive coordinator Brian Fleury’s inexperience create skepticism. Yet, the locker room is rallying behind Fleury’s run-first philosophy, and the team’s culture thrives on turning disrespect into motivation. With an aging defense and key departures, they’ll need to prove they’re more than just past champions—if they feed on doubt, they’ve got plenty to feast on this season.
