Seahorse Wedding - Kraus

from Pyramid Club Broadcasting Hosted by PCB

A work, by Kraus, in nine movements; initially created as a soundtrack for a float tank experience. You can listen in a dark room in a bath that is heavily dosed with epsom salts*, or alternatively use a dry listening environment, eg lying down on a yoga mat or mattress, with dim lighting eg. candles, and incense. SEAHORSE WEDDING 0'00" – Prelude 6'17" – Sandcastle Abbey 16'51" – Celebrant Crustacean 23'16" – The Exchange of Vows 33'27" – Rings 36'36" – Lifting the Veil 46'25" – Just Married 54'43" – Reception (Band of Dolphins) *Commercial float tanks have about 500kg of epsom salts in them, a domestic float tank can have about 250kg of epsom salts. Most people recommend 2 cups for a bath (perhaps you can experiment with more!) -----––––– Visit https://www.pyramidclub.org.nz/seahorse-wedding-kraus for info on discounted float tank bookings at Float Well ---- With thanks to Creative New Zealand

From New Orleans la. But The Late Set WRTI Jazz is a conversation — and that’s what The Late Set is all about. Originated by critic Nate Chinen and broadcaster Greg Bryant, the show now convenes Chinen and Josh Jackson twice a month for perceptive variations on a theme, and their related interview with a special guest. Just like a hang at the end of the gig, in the back of the club, it’s direct, unfiltered and illuminating, revealing the music and its culture in a deeper light.
