Sean Murphy

Recognized as a master of creating a composition that appears spontaneous, Sean is adept at ‘reigning in a giant bunch of mayhem’ to capture the wild side of contemporary Americana. As a boy he learned how to set things on fire (in a good way,) but as the son of an Air Force Fighter Pilot growing up in the swamps of the Florida panhandle, Sean developed his first callouses as a fishing boat deck-hand before landing at the New England School of Photography. He is now internationally known for creating award-winning campaigns for clients such as Ford, Chevy, Old Navy, PlayStation, Walmart and Hard Rock. Sean’s charisma and approachability with his subjects has helped him build a massive celebrity vault filled with legendary images of American icons. His current collaboration with BOTE, the largest selling stand-up paddleboard company in the world, has helped create the voice of the brand through adventuring on epic road trips and off-the-grid river runs.
