Sean Parnell: Ground Truth From Afghanistan

Today’s guest on Danger Close is not only a former infantry platoon leader in Afghanistan, he’s also a current candidate for the United States Senate.   Sean Parnell is a Ranger qualified 10th Mountain Division soldier who spent over a year on the front lines in Afghanistan before being medically retired as a captain for wounds sustained in combat. Sean is a passionate advocate for veterans and co-founder of The American Warrior Initiative.   Sean is also the New York Times bestselling author of several books, including Outlaw Platoon: Heroes, Renegades, Infidels, and the Brotherhood of War in Afghanistan, and the popular Eric Steele series.  The latest installment, Left for Dead, hits shelves on Sept. 7.
