Search for Driver in Lacurtis Knight Hit-and-Run | Miami News

A father of five, Lacurtis Knight, was fatally struck by a dark sedan in Deerfield Beach on August 29 — and the driver fled the scene. Surveillance shows the suspect stopped, checked on Knight, and drove off. What’s baffling: Knight’s body was found miles away in a park. Investigators are racing to uncover who moved him — and why. His family, devastated, says catching the driver won’t bring him back, but it could bring them peace. The vehicle, possibly a Toyota Corolla, is missing a rear passenger hubcap. Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for tips. If you have any info, call Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. This case demands justice — and every detail matters.
