Search for Missing Air Force General Intensifies
from Santa Fe News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Retired U.S. Air Force Major General William Neil McCasland has been missing since weeks, sparking a multi-state search in New Mexico and Colorado. Despite no signs of mental decline, a Silver Alert was issued due to his disappearance. His clothing was found at home, but key items like a gun, wallet, and backpack are missing. McCasland was last seen wearing a light green shirt and hiking boots. Authorities are focusing on facts, dismissing wild theories linking him to UFOs. Search teams have canvassed homes, trails, and flown night missions for heat signatures. The FBI and local deputies are committed to finding McCasland, despite slim survival odds in the mountains.
