Search for Missing Ukrainian Refugee Intensifies
from Winnipeg News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Over a hundred volunteers, predominantly from Winnipegs Ukrainian community, embarked on a search for Anatolii Ishchenko, a 30-year-old Ukrainian refugee missing since January. Last seen on Pembina Highway, he vanished in brutal winter cold after a panic attack and hospital visit. Anatolii, who fled Ukraine alone in 2022, was seeking mental health support and had lost his job. Search teams, including those who previously found another refugees body, combed the area with an app and spotted an iPhone case matching his. The community rallied with borscht and prayers, hoping for a miracle to bring Anatolii home safely. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
