Searching for Something #31- BXI

I searched for something with BXI, Seattle's breakout artist with a backstory as compelling as his tracks. From the turbulent streets of Missouri, where gang affiliations and unexpected challenges marked his youth, to academic triumphs that saw him skipping grades, acing the ACT, and diving into Computer Science and Medicine – his journey is nothing short of remarkable. Just when Pediatrics seemed his calling, a Wild n' Out episode during the COVID lockdown changed everything, igniting a passion for music. Battling self-doubt, with the encouragement of a trusted friend, BXI's tracks soon echoed across bars and clubs, racking up a whopping 30 million streams! Dive into our chat as we delve into his musical ascent, his partnership with a record label, the inception of Rude Records, and the tale behind the unique moniker, BXI. A tale of grit, surprises, and undying passion!
