Pam Cullen has been the Executive Director and Chaplain at the London Community Chaplaincy for the last 3.5 years. As the chaplaincy Pam is busy supporting residents with advocacy needs, developing new programs, overseeing the staff and fundraising and her favourite….planning parties and celebration! This past 2 weeks she has piloted her 1st Iftar parties to celebrate Ramadan with the Muslim residents. Pam is an ordained pastor with the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec has served as a community pastor in both Mississauga and London. An interesting claim to fame, Pam once bought a house, sold a house, moved cities and had a baby all in the same weekend! Pam spends most of her after work hours driving her children to their busy swim team and ice skating practices. When she can fit it in, Pam is working on her own swimming endurance and is hoping to try an open water 1 Km swim race this summer. To relax, Pam and her family are heading to PEI in July and are looking forward to that trip together which includes the grandparents!This podcast was recorded on June 20, 2019.
