Season 1 Episode 8: Homework!

In Episode 8 of The Staffroom, Chey and Pav talk about a very well-known and loved-hated topic: Homework. How much is too much? What is the school board policy on homework? What kinds of homework should teachers be assigning? Should they assign homework on the weekend? Chey and Pav talk about all kinds of different scenarios that affect students in regards to homework, and which ones they tend to use in their classrooms. Chey talks about an episode on Homework of The Monarch Experience, a podcast that incorporates student voice in its episodes. Pav reviews how she tries to create intrinsic value for homework in her students, by talking to them about why they should be doing homework on a daily basis. Both Chey and Pav agree that homework disrupts necessary recharge time in students and they don't actually like to assign homework for students on weekends.
