Recorded May 29th, 2020 - In this edition we chat with Simon Hughes of the Athletic, author of a number of Football books including 'Allez, Allez, Allez' and 'Ring Of Fire'.  And most recently he's written ' There She Goes' about the city of Liverpool between 1979 and 1993.  Fascinating insights from one of our favorite writers. He talks about his earliest memories, the part he played in the arrival of Jurgen Klopp, for which we will forever be grateful. NOTE - this podcast predates the use of the First State Kopites name
