Send us Fan MailWelcome to a new episode of Ye Olde Dragon's Library storytelling podcast!Season 12 features the final book in the Guardians of the Time Stream series:MUSIC IN THE NIGHTEss's mother, Vivian, left her a rose made of the same crystal that formed the Great Machine, which allowed the Originators and Revisionists to travel through time. A matching rose belonged to her friend, Anna, and the two women communicated mind-to-mind, until Vivian died. When Ess was too young to understand, the crystal rose allowed her to touch the mind of Carmen, Anna's daughter. Both girls thought the other was merely an imaginary friend. Now that she knows what crystal can do, and spurred on by dreams of Carmen in danger from the Revisionists, Ess searches for her orphaned childhood friend. Carmen has no idea what gifts lie in her blood, in the power of song, and in the crystal rose.Having lost everything, Carmen searches for answers to her mother's mysterious past and takes charge of a group of orphans, trusting in God to provide. When they end up on the streets, they find shelter in an underground community. Their leader, Brogan, hides his scars in the shadows, and fears he is slowly growing insane. Carmen's music may be the key to solving puzzles passed down from their ancestors, and giving them more understanding of just what crystal can do. The fate of the world of the future could rest in their hands. If you want your own copy of the book in print, ebook, or audiobook, please check the storefront at YeOldeDragonBooks.com Visit Michelle's blog, MichelleLevigne.blogspot.com, and sign up for her newsletter, to learn about upcoming projects.Find us on Patreon: Ye Olde Dragon's Library© 2026 by Michelle L.
