Season 16 Episode 8: The Homeroom Fund

Akash Patel and Andrew Somers, who are recent high school graduates making waves in the finance industry. Akash who is a Venture Analyst at 1435 Capital is adept at analyzing companies, conducting due diligence, and sourcing deals. Additionally, as an incoming freshmen at Northwestern University studying Economics and Mathematics. Andrew, who is going to the University of Virginia for business with a finance concentration, works on assessing startups, writing research reports and deal sourcing as an analyst at the same company. Together, they will share insights gained during their summer experiences as a work on starting their own venture capital fund called Homeroom Fund, offering valuable advice for highschoolers interested in finance and venture capital.
