Season 2, Ep. 12 - Kira Henschel, HenschelHAUS Publishing

Award-winning publisher Kira Henschel founded HenschelHAUS Publishing in 2002 after working as production manager at a small, independent press, preparing textbooks for McGraw Hill, Prentice-Hall, and 16 academic journals. She holds a master's degree in Engineering Management and bachelors' degrees in Geology and International Relations.Kira also taught at Milwaukee School of Engineering's as an adjunct professor in the School of Business. Her technical background served her well when she lived in Austria, in the heart of Europe, for 13 years.  Ever the entrepreneur, Kira established a technical translation agency and was asked to help translate books from German to English on a wide range of topics.
