This week the case study is Wynton Yates. You may know him as @lawyerwynton on TikTok and other social media sites. Who is Wynton you ask? Wynton began his long and extensive career in entertainment as a toddler, when he was featured in a national commercial and multiple retail catalogs. Throughout his childhood he was cast in multiple productions, including; the 1998 Made for TV film Mama Flora’s Family alongside Queen Latifah, Cicely Tyson, Blair Underwood, Shemar Moore and Erica Alexander. The 1999 Made for TV Film A Lesson Before Dying and worked alongside Don Cheadle, Mekhi Phifer, and Elijah Kelly. From there, Wynton partnered with music photographer Terence Rushin and videographer Tristan Ervin in founding Chasing Squirelz Productions. The experienced and talented trio produced and developed high end photography and video productions for entertainment and corporate clients, which included documenting the tours of chart-topping musicians. After Chasing Squirelz Productions, Wynton began a career as a television new reporter at NBC 26 in Augusta Georgia. After 2 Years, he accepted a full time reporter job at WWL-TV Channel 4, CBS, in New Orleans LA. While at Channel 4, Wynton covered numerous breaking news stories from local politics to natural disasters to entertainment news. After an extensive career in Television News Wynton attended Loyola Law School in New Orleans. Wynton Practices Entertainment law and civil rights Law specializing in complex licensing agreements, copyrights, trademarks, settlement negotiations, Film & Television agreements, sports law, gaming, and the social media influencer market space. his clients are composed of many artists, musicians, film makers, social media influencers, and even people serving life sentences in prison.
