Included in that haul were.some top-of-the-line stereo speakers. We sold the speakers on eBay for $7000 and a month after doing the job went back to Cynthia’s home and gave her $3200 cash. Enjoy this fun filled discussion with her and you too will quickly realize she IS “…the classiest lady in Washington.” Thank you, Cynthia! Cynthia Steele Vance, an award-winning broadcast journalist, is a familiar face in Washington DC; known for her work as a local news anchor on WTTG’s Fox News, appearances at countless charity events over the years as a Mistress of Ceremonies and serving on a number of boards. Among them, DC Dance theater, Wolf Trap Associates Board, WETA Public Television, Knock Out Abuse and as a Trustee at George Washington University for 12 years. From 2011 to 2013, she served at GWU’s Ambassador to several conferences of the Bilateral Women’s Conference in Bern, Switzerland.Her roots are deep in Virginia where she raised her children and Washington, DC where she attended Mount Vernon Women’s College, now part of George Washington University. She currently lives in Georgetown, where she has embraced city life.
